Spin, Span, Spun
.
This year's spin-in at Susan's was a bit smaller than usual - there were horrible storms with high winds and tornado warnings, so many folks canceled at the last minute. Several of us braved the weather and had a wonderful time.
The smaller group made it a much more intimate gathering, and we all had a great time chatting and spinning. The dogs even got a chance to "mingle" and get lots of attention!
Susan even got to spin! That almost never happens! She also showed off her latest weaving project. Isn't it a lovely pattern?(double click on the photo for a closer look)
In addition to the spinning and eating, we got to check out the new bunnies - they're so incredibly tiny! Aren't they precious?
The only down side of the gathering was that we couldn't go out to see the sheep and the new lambs - it was just too wet! Oh, well...we could see them and the alpacas through the windows. I even managed to get a few photos through the very wet windows!
As always, Susan was a fabulous hostess and a fabulous time was had by all...in spite of the weather!
