In Memoriam.....

I ended my day last Friday on a bit of a sad note. When we had arrived in NY, I received a message that a friend and classmate of mine had recently died of kidney cancer. As a result, we ended our day at the memorial service for my friend, Lee....God bless his soul. My friend Dave, his wife Stephanie, and Lee's younger brother, Ronnie, had organized the memorial service. It was a very lovely service. It featured a photo montage of happy memories and good times and a very loving speech by Lee's teenage son, Bryan. I'm so glad I was able to be there - to "say goodbye" and to reminisce about the good times we all shared.
