Trekking to Cooperstown

After wrapping up things at the New York Sheep and Wool Festival, we headed back to our hotel (the Quality Inn in Kingston) to rest up for the journey to Cooperstown.   Our hotel was quite nice - we had a good sized room with a couch so I could spin, a coffee maker,  and a mini-fridge.   What could be better?   The  room came with a nice breakfast every morning...and the decor in the dining room was rather nostalgic...complete with a couple of spinning wheels  in front of the fireplace.  (you may need to click on the photo in order to see it better...)

The roads to Cooperstown were very scenic - mountains, lakes, and farms.  So calming....so beautiful!

Our first stop in Cooperstown was the Cooperstown Brewery.   We were the only ones there, so we had  a nice relaxed tasting.   It's a very small brewery, but has some interesting brews....

The brewery also boasted a very decorated bathroom - the wall is entirely lined with beer bottles.   There were too many to fit in the photo!!!

Two full walls were decorated with beer bottles....it was really amazing to look at.    I just couldn't resist taking a photo!'
